Twenty-two subject tests make up the many offerings of the
SAT II. These one-hour examinations are required by many schools
and are often taken in threes. Almost all colleges require an
SAT II: Writing score, and the College Board plans to integrate
the SAT II: Writing test into the SAT I starting with the high
school class of 2006.
